Enchantment Accessories
Ebonwood Enchantment:
- Mini-Rework:
- The aura now grants the player Corruption, which gives up to a 5 flat damage and 5% damage reduction buff.

Shadewood Enchantment:
- Cooldown was reduced from 2 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
- Blood count was reduced from 2-5 to 2.
- The blood now has local invulnerability frames, but can only hit each enemy once.
Copper Enchantment:
- Mini-Rework:
- Chain lightning no longer has infinite pierce; instead, it arcs between 5 enemies. To compensate, the cooldown was reduced to 4 seconds, and base damage increased from 50 to 60.
- With Wizard Enchantment, base damage was increased from 160 to 250, and chain lightning now arcs between 8 enemies.
- Chain lightning now homes onto the target enemy.
- Wet enemies or critical strikes have a 25% chance to reduce the cooldown by 1/20th of a second.
- Chain lightning no longer has infinite pierce; instead, it arcs between 5 enemies. To compensate, the cooldown was reduced to 4 seconds, and base damage increased from 50 to 60.
- Mini-Rework:
Iron Enchantment:
- Reworked: Picking up an item or pickup increases damage reduction by 20% for 5 seconds.
- The pickups include Hearts, Stars, and Nebula Boosters.
- Reworked: In inventory, a "great" prefix is guaranteed for a 50% greater cost, and the player's grab range is increased.

Ancient Cobalt Enchantment and
Cobalt Enchantment:
- Mini-Rework:
- Explosion jump now deals melee damage, and does not grant invulnerability frames.
- : The base damage has increased from 100 to 150, and the size by 1.5x (2x).
- : With Wizard Enchantment, the size of the explosion is increased by 2x, and the player's jump boost by 1.5x.

- This damage falloff reduces the final damage by the number of hits.

Rich Mahogany Enchantment:
- Damage reduction sticks around for a second after grappling.
Tin Enchantment:
- Getting hit now halves the player's current critical strike chance, to a minimum of 5%.
Huntress Enchantment:
- Misses now halves the player's damage and defense pierce stacks instead of removing them entirely.
Red Riding Enchantment:
- The arrow rain now starts lower, but has an increased spread to compensate.
Spider Enchantment:
- The crit bonus cannot increase damage by more than 100.
Ninja Enchantment:
- Fixed an edge case where summons could crit.
Dark Artist Enchantment:
- Minion no longer inflicts global invulnerability frames.
Force Accessories
Force of Life:
- Slightly buffed vertical flight stats.
Force of Nature:
Chlorophyte minion damage reduced from 294 to 245 base damage.
Essence Accessories
Sharpshooter's Essence:
- Now increases ranged weapon velocity by 10% instead of reducing ammo consumption chance by 10%.
Soul Accessories
Sniper's Soul:
- Now increases ranged weapon velocity by 20% instead of reducing ammo consumption chance by 20%.
Arch Wizard's Soul:
- Now decreases mana cost by 20% instead of increasing magic weapon attack speed by 20%.
Conjurist's Soul:
- Added minion slots decreased from 5 to 3.
Other Accessories
Concentrated Rainbow Matter:
The rainbow slime minion no longer inflicts global invulnerability frames.
Remote Control:
- Doubled the probe laser hit cooldown from 10 frames to 20 frames.
- Golem eye beams now count as lasers for Remote Control damage resistance.

- Damage is reduced by 50% if Golem has not been defeated.

- Instead, both ranged and magic attacks now receive double damage.
- The melee summon's fireballs now have one less local invulnerability frame, preventing them from double-hitting.
Security Wallet:
- No longer improves reforges, instead reducing reforge cost by 50%.
Slimy Shield, Supreme Deathbringer Fairy, and Soul of the Master:
- Added a new toggle that enables the player to fall through platforms with a 0.167-second cooldown.
Sinister Icon:
- Now doubles boss drops, except Mutant, but needs to be equipped for the full duration of the boss fight to grant the effect.
Wyvern Feather:
- No longer inflictsClipped Wings.
Cosmic Core:
- Supercrit chance is now 1/3 of the player's critical strike chance, down from 1/2.
Abominable Wand:
- Now increases the graze cap by 20%.
- Fixed to be a requirement for Styx armor to overcharge graze.

Mutant Eye:
- Now increases the graze cap by 25%, down from 100%.
- This stacks linearly with Abominable Wand.

Weapons
Prime Staff:
- Damage was increased from 18 to 24.
- The drop rate was increased from 5% to 20%.
- Shooting arms no longer deal contact damage.
- Contact arms have a longer cooldown on hit, increased from 0.25 seconds to 0.33 seconds.
- Cannonballs no longer pierce.
The Regurgitator:
- Damage decreased from 350 to 90, and lasers no longer pierce.
- To compensate, charged hungries deal 3x more damage.
- Lasers now rotate faster and have a smaller degree of rotation.
- Charged hungry growth rate now scales with attack speed.

Staff of Unleashed Ocean:
- Drop rate was increased from 4% to 8.33%.
Miss Drakovi's Fishing Pole:
- Reduced melee damage by 25%, reduced ranged damage by 50%, increased mana cost from 15 to 45.
- Pufferrangs no longer return on hit; instead, pufferrangs reach their maximum range, then return.
- Reduced melee projectile dust.
- Damage types can now be cycled without ammo.
- Projectiles are no longer shot on Right Click.
- Damage types can no longer be cycled when the weapon cooldown is still active.
- Projectiles no longer inflict global invulnerability frames.
Big Brain Buster:
- Reduced base damage from 170 to 150.
- Projectile damage no longer scales with size; instead, repeated summons now increase the fire rate of the minion.
Devious Aestheticus:
- Reduced base damage from 292 to 270.
- Now correctly displays the maximum number of minion slots the weapon scales with (7).
Scientific Railgun:
- Lightning arcs now deal 0.33x base instead of 0.1x.
- Reduced base damage from 2160 to 1000 to compensate.
- No longer inflicts global invulnerability frames.

Other Changes
- Whip tag damage is reduced when stacked instead of being completely removed.
- Equipped Active Skills are now crossed out and unusable when an accessory effect is disabled/removed instead of being removed from the slot.
- Minions no longer activate accessory effects (i.e.,Boreal Wood Enchantment snowballs).
- Accessories that increase projectile velocity now stack additively, save for Ninja Enchantment.
- Tweaked main menu logo lighting and added glowmask.
- Fixed several small description issues and clarified some wording.
- Fixed issues with Music Box tiles.
- Fixed Smart Cursor or hovering a Town NPC overriding parrying if a parry is not bound to Right Click.
- Fixed other niche rare errors.
Eternity Mode Changes
Additions
- Reworked the swing style of most standard Broadswords, now being able to be swung in any direction with a new animation.
- Added a configuration for melee weapon reworks.
General Changes
- Reworded shifting sand message to "The sand is shifting underneath you".
- All NPCs and enemies no longer passively suffocate in Space or burn in Hell.
- All environmental effects are now disabled during Boss fights.
- Underground shadow hands are now exclusive to the Tundra.
- Electric Orb debuffs are now tied to their color type (i.e.,Retinazer orbs now only inflict Ichor,Spazmatism orbs only inflict Cursed Inferno).
- Reduced duration of Berserked from most sources.
- Hypothermia no longer affects Whips.
- Living Wasteland no longer rots Town NPCs.
- Fused is now defused by standing still for a full second.
- All basic ore broadswords are now 30% larger.
Bosses
King Slime (Eternity Mode):
- Received a massive sprite visual overhaul.
Cursed Coffin:
- Now has a 25% chance to drop each Pharaoh's Set piece.
- Boss checklist spawn info now specifies the spawn conditions for Cursed Coffin.
- Fixed sometimes inexplicitly exploding in multiplayer
- Fixed Cursed Spirit drawing under the tablet in the arena.
Eater of Worlds (Eternity Mode):
- Now launches towards the player if the player strays too far.
- Fixed some issues with the coil attack.
Queen Bee (Eternity Mode):
- Completely reworked standard vanilla flying movement and stinger attack.
- Completely reworked standard vanilla bee attack.
- No longer features a stinger ring.
- Now moves away before charging if she's too close.
- Removed honey telegraph after her Bee swarm attack.
- Reduced the number of Bees she can spawn.
- The number of bees she can spawn remain the same.
- Bees now have a slight yellow outline.
- If she's too far from the player, she will move closer when preparing for her Bee swarm attack
- Royal Subjects now cannot deal damage until they have been alive for two seconds.
- Fixed an issue with her not playing dash sounds.
- Fixed an issue sometimes keeping the dash sprite when she cancels her dashes.
Skeletron (Eternity Mode):
- Tweaked the projectile pattern during the first phase hand clap attack.
Deerclops (Eternity Mode):
- Added a new shadow hand attack.
- No longer deals contact damage.
- Ice spikes can no longer spawn on platforms.
- Rubble projectiles now emit light.
- Now passively emits red light during nighttime.
- Rubble attack telegraphs with dust on the ground.
- Now has a longer windup in Eternity Mode only.
- Certain ice spikes have a shorter lifespan.
- Ice spikes now grant the player a longer invulnerability frame window on hit to avoid double hits.
- No longer inflictsSlow.
- Slightly increased grab attack cooldown from 12.5 seconds to 13.33 seconds.
Queen Slime (Eternity Mode):
- Gelatin Subjects do not deal contact damage for two seconds after spawning.

Banished Baron:

The Destroyer (Eternity Mode):
- Damage reduction during the coil was reduced from 90% to 60%, with the exception of the final phase.
- Reduced held weapon resistance from 60% to 30%.
- Flying Knife is now exempt from The Destroyer's per-hit pierce resistance.
Skeletron Prime (Eternity Mode):
- Now shares health with the arms.
- To compensate for this, the arms have 90% damage resistance, and the base health was increased from 1.2x to 1.4x

Plantera (Eternity Mode):
- Increased the delays between her Phase 3 attacks by 1.5 seconds.
Duke Fishron (Eternity Mode):
- Sharknados can no longer telefrag in Masochist Mode.
Empress of Light (Eternity Mode):
- Now has a new arena visual during her big blender spin attack.
- Added photosensitivity configuration for this attack.

Abominationn:
- Reduced base health from 750,000 to 680,000 to compensate for the Cosmic Core change.
- The split scythe line telegraph lasts longer to telegraph the scythe movement properly.
- In Phase 2, the scythes launched after the Styx Gazer slashes start slow and accelerate (faster in Masochist Mode).
- They now also deal damage in Eternity Mode.
- Flocko attack now has slightly more spread in Phase 2.
- Now fires 5 per spread in Masochist Mode.
- Deletes all existing auras on spawn, preventing aura stacking.
- The border now inflicts Burning instead of damaging the player.
- The player is still damaged by the border.
- No longer inflicts Berserked with any attack.
- The arena can no longer damage the player at the start of the fight.
- Now has 2 UFOs during Phase 1 scythe attack.
- Phase 1 delayed scythe projectiles are predictive.
- Phase 1 dashes are much faster.

Mutant:

Goldfishes and
Jellyfishes:
- No longer randomly transform into

- Greatly decreased water spout fire rate from 1.167 seconds to 5 seconds.
Sand Poachers:
- Added a telegraph for the spit attack.
Corruptors:
- Tweaked the flamethrower attack, along with being more telegraphed.
Undead Miners:
- Fixed an issue where the bomb dealt more damage than intended.
Skeleton Archers:
- Reduced fire rate by 50%.
Sharks:
- Reduced the maximum horde size from 5 to 2.
Sand Sharks and its variants:
- Reduced spawn rate by 50%.
Items
Rod of Discord:
- No longer damages the player on use.
- Instead,Chaos State now reduces the player's damage, defense, and damage reduction by 40%.
- No longer damages the player on use.
Rod of Harmony:
- Cannot be shimmered until Post-Mutant.
Bladetongue:
- Increased size by 30%.
Obsidian Swordfish:
- No longer has the damage decreased.
North Pole, *
Elf Melter, and
Imp Staff:
- No longer has their damage increased.
Gladius:
- No longer has the damage increased by 25%.
- Instead, the hit rate was increased to match the swing speed.
- No longer has the damage increased by 25%.
Cactus Armor:
- The set bonus tooltip now states immunity to cactus damage in Eternity Mode.
- Rebalanced several Golem-tier weapons.
Other Changes
- Improved sub-pixel scaling for the difficulty selection screen.
- Fixed Masochist Mode multiplayer respawn prevention text sometimes displaying in singleplayer.
