Duke Fishron EX is a normally unspawnable post-Moon Lord boss.

Summoning

Duke Fishron EX does not spawn on its own and must be summoned by the player by fishing in the ocean using a Truffle Worm EX.

Attacks

Duke Fishron EX's basic behavior is identical to an Eternity Mode Duke Fishron. However, in addition to having much higher stats, it also gains the following changes:

• Is always surrounded by an Oceanic Seal that prevents dodging, projectile reflection, lifesteal, supersonic speed, and running away
• Permanently inflicts Mutant Presence.
• Non-homing Detonating Bubbles gain 10,000 life
• Bubbles additionally inflict Defenseless
• Sharkrons have 15,000 life
• Sharknado bolts move at double speed
• All attacks inflict the Oceanic Maul effect (-200 HP on contact, -50 on projectile) regardless of whether or not the player is immune.
• Always moves 50% faster
• Has much less delay between dashes in phases 1 and 2
• Spawns a Cthulhunado while shooting bubbles in phase 1
• Creates an additional ring of bubbles while spawning Sharknados in phase 1
• Creates a double spiral of Detonating Bubbles while spinning in phase 2
• Spawns a total of three Sharknados and two rings of Razorblade Typhoons with every Cthulhunado in phase 2
• Becomes immune to all debuffs in phase 3
• Instead of regular bubbles, creates strips of accelerating bubbles during phase 3 dashes
• Periodically spawns Cthulhunados in phase 3
• Creates layered Razorblade Typhoon rings and a burst of bubbles with every teleport in phase 3

Trivia

• Duke Fishron EX was originally the penultimate boss of Eternity Mode, alongside the Abominationn. Its progression point was completely replaced with Abominationn and it was made unspawnable through normal means in the 1.3.0 update.
