Webbed is a Hardmode debuff that immobilizes the player completely. It is only inflicted by the Black Recluse's and Jungle Creeper's web spit attack, an attack that they only use in Expert Mode. Unlike the Frozen or Stoned debuffs, it will instantly stop the player in place, preventing them from falling or sliding across the ground. While affected by the debuff, the player will be unable to use any items except for healing items.

Notes

Webbed is the only debuff in the game that completely disables most of the player's inputs and cannot be prevented whatsoever. Therefore, it is commonly used in large multiplayer servers to stop a player.
The debuffs Stoned(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), Frozen, and Webbed all disable the player's inputs. When more than one of them is active, the priority for the effects is as follows: Stoned → Frozen → Webbed.
- Note that if the Webbed effect coexists with any of the other effects, the player will not experience the effects of gravity.
