The Grand Cross is a consumable item used to summon a Paladin. It can be bought from Deviantt after one has already been defeated, Plantera has been defeated and the world is in Hardmode.

The Grand Cross will only work at night or if the player is underground (at or below the cavern layer). If used during the daytime or above the cavern layer, the Paladin will not spawn and the item will not be consumed.
