Fargo's Souls Mod v1.4.2.5 served to add minor polish and bug fixes.
Changes
Enchantment Accessories
- Ebonwood Enchantment no longer triggers on falling tiles e.g. sand
- Silver Enchantment nerfed
- Parry can only block up to 100 damage at once (200 with Force), any leftover damage is taken normally
- Reduced how much it improves parry frame data when used with Pumpking's Cape or Dread Shell
- Titanium Enchantment rebalanced
- Damage reduction only works on contact damage and projectiles near their source NPC (within ~8 blocks of their hitbox)
- Buff also gives immunity to most debuffs similar to parry or Gold Shell
- Turtle Enchantment bug fixed, tooltip displays properly and visual shell is no longer orphaned when recalling
Other Accessories
- Sparkling Adoration no longer grazes falling tiles e.g. sand
- Dread Shell nerfed, parry can only block up to 200 damage at once
- Pumpking's Cape nerfed, parry can only block up to 200 damage at once
Weapons
- Leash of Cthulhu projectile sprite is no longer four times larger than intended
- The Blender bug fixed, is now immune to timestop to patch exploit that allowed you to use Blender orbitals with certain other weapons e.g. Diffractor Blaster
Other Changes
- Fixed not being able to make new characters
- Fixed not actually needing Saucer Control Console to quick swap ammo
- Fixed attack speed bonuses being generally dysfunctional
- Certain internal changes to how toggles are implemented
- Smite inconsistency fixed, everything takes the stated x1.2 damage as intended (previously, everything took x1.1 damage except for when players were damaged by projectiles, which was x1.2)
Eternity Mode Changes
General Changes
- Adjusted rendering for various boss deathrays to reduce appearance of them layering on top of each other
- Changed death message of Fake Heart to better clarify that player died to a Fake Heart
Enemies
- Removed modified Fire Imp and Lava Slime spawns
Bosses
- Lifelight
- Merged phase 2 and 3 and excluded the deathray attack to Masochist Mode (for now, will be reintroduced later)
- Added reaction shotgun previously phase 2 variant to phase 1, and made the previously phase 3 variant phase 2
- Removed several attack variants
- Split several attacks that previously had phase 2 and 3 variants into being separate phase 2 attacks
- Decreased delay between attacks in phase one on Eternity Mode and down
- No longer teleports after reaction shotgun
- Mutant (boss)
- Fixed despawning when healed in Master Masochist For the Worthy Mutant's Fury Enraged mode
