Not to be confused with the Sparkling Love, a weapon with a similar name.
The Sparkling Adoration is a Pre-Hardmode Eternity Mode-exclusive accessory. It is always dropped by the Deviantt. It grants immunity to the Lovestruck debuff and damage from Fake Hearts (e.g. the ones dropped by Mimics in Eternity Mode). It allows the player to graze enemy attacks, indicated by a small pink ring appearing around the player; grazing attacks increases the player's damage, up to a 1.25x damage multiplier. The damage boost diminishes over time when not grazing attacks, and is completely lost when taking damage. It also summons 3 homing hearts on enemy hits every 10 seconds. Hearts have a base damage of 17, lifesteal for 2 health each, and inflict Lovestruck on enemies, though this has no effect and is purely cosmetic.

Notes
- Grazing an attack is indicated by a sound effect.
- Projectiles count as grazing if they pass within 10 tiles of the player without hitting them. Shots that are avoided through dodges such as the Black Belt or Holy Dodge buff also count as being grazed.
- The graze damage boost increases by 0.0125 per successful graze, and decreases by 0.01 per second when not grazing.
- Grazing an attack will reset the diminish counter.
Trivia
- The graze is based on the graze mechanic from the Touhou Project series.
- The sound used for the item is also the same sound used regularly throughout the series.
