The Obsidian Enchantment is a craftable Pre-Hardmode accessory that is themed after Obsidian armor. When equipped, it grants the effects of Ash Wood Enchantment and immunity to lava damage. It allows for normal range of motion while in lava similar to the effects of Flipper Potion, and grants the player the Lava Wet buff while submerged in and after leaving lava. This buff causes player attacks to spawn explosions that deal the same damage as the attack, and shoot fireballs. The explosion has a cooldown of 0.83 seconds and have a damage cap of 250.
Equipping it alongside the Wizard Enchantment will grant both explosions and fireballs when afflicted with any debuffs but with decreased damage, increased damage cap and decreases explosion cooldown.

- While the Obsidian Enchantment has a rarity of 3, it does not use the standard orange color for its item name. Instead, it uses a custom rarity color of #453C75 ●.
