The Pearlwood Enchantment is a craftable Hardmode accessory that is themed after Pearlwood armor. When equipped, all attacks have a second critical strike roll if the first fails. However, it causes a hostile Pearlwood Star to appear while the player is moving, which mimics the players movement until the enchantment is removed. If the star makes contact with the player, it will deal damage equal to 20% of the player's max health, and will respawn after 2 seconds.
Equipping it alongside the Wizard Enchantment will give two extra critical strike rolls and allow the star to deal damage to enemies.

Notes
- While the Pearlwood Enchantment has a rarity of 3, it does not use the standard orange color for its item name. Instead, it uses a custom rarity color of #AD9A5F ●.
Trivia
- The symbol on the Pearlwood Enchantment resembles a star above a tree.
- The Pearlwood Enchantment is the only component of the Force of Timber that cannot be obtained before the Wall of Flesh is defeated.
- Likewise, it is the only component of the Force of Timber that is crafted at a Crystal Ball instead of an evil Altar.
- The flavor tooltip "You can't outrun your own reflection" and the star's behaviour is a reference to Badeline from Celeste, specifically her appearance in Chapter 2.
- The star is referred to in the code as "Stareline".
