That golem? It gets upset when you leave the temple, so fighting in there is best. Platforms won't work, but a Lihzahrd Instactuation Bomb can help clear space!

For the vanilla page, see Golem.

Eternity Mode Golem is a Hardmode boss. He is a more powerful version of Golem with more attacks and new behavior.

Behavior

Phase 1

Golem behaves similar to his original counterpart albeit with some new abilities:

  • Immune to damage from traps.
  • Regenerates 180/240 health per second.
  • Fists regenerate 9999 health per second, making them practically invincible, and destroy non-minion projectiles on contact.
  • Eye Beams start off slow but accelerate over time.
  • Fists create randomly sized explosions.

Every other stomp, golem will alternate between using one of 2 attacks (Uses an attack every stomp):

  • Geysers: Spaced yellow bar indicators appear on the ceiling and floor. After extending for a short period, the indicators erupt into Geysers.
  • Boulder Rain: Several Boulders rain from the sky above the player, and then bounce in their direction when they hit the ground.
    • These boulders act similar to bouncy boulders, albeit touching walls destroys them, and they are much slower.
  • At the peak of each jump, Golem will release a volley of Spiky Balls that obey inverted gravity.

Phase 2

  • No longer fires bouncy fireballs in phase 2.
  • Does not fire lasers when too close to the free head. (Fires regardless of distance from head.)
  • Head will periodically move to the player's position before performing one of 2 attacks, creating ceiling Geysers and following up the attack with a half ring of lasers fired under the head. (Does not create Geysers, uses both attacks at once.)
    • Mouth releases a downwards skewer that extends until it hits the ground, then sweeps in the player's direction. This attack is indicated with a yellow circle indicator and plays a slam sound.
    • Head releases 7 bouncing Spike Balls above itself at random angles. These Spike Balls will persist until the next special head attack.

When Enraged

  • Masochist mode Head and fist AI enabled.
  • Heals twice as fast.
  • Body moves much faster and jumps much higher.
  • Stomps always create both geysers and boulders.
  • Geysers lack indicators and appear at a consistent height relative to the body.
  • 7 Boulders are fired, and Boulders are more spread out.
  • Laser semicircle is fired above instead of below the head.
  • Body scatters Spiky Balls with normal gravity.

Notes

  • Golem's explosive fists activate if the player is outside of the Temple, while most other enraged AI is based on Golem's position.
  • Golem drops a Lihzahrd Battery Pack on spawn if it hasn't been defeated yet.
  • Dispite being visually similar to a skewer, the Sweep attack is named "Burning Deathray" in game.

Tips

Trivia

  • If the Eternity Mode Recolors option is turned on in the Mod Configurations menu, it resembles the Dungeon.
