Not to be confused with The Lightning Rod, a Pre-Hardmode melee weapon.

Lightning Rod is an Eternity Mode exclusive debuff inflicted by certain enemies. It causes lightning to rain down from above the player.

The player can become immune to Lightning Rod by equipping the Remote Control or its upgrades.
