The Shadow Force is a craftable post-Moon Lord accessory that combines the effects of the Ancient Shadow, Ninja, Crystal Assassin, Spooky, Shinobi Infiltrator, Dark Artist, and Necro Enchantments.
Effects
Summons four shadow orbs that orbit the player. If one of the shadow orbs are hit by a player projectile, a spurt of 10 homing shadow energy is released which will attack nearby enemies. Homing shadow energies have a base damage of 50 which scales with the highest class damage boost. Attacks have 20% chance to inflict the Darkness debuff, which causes enemies to fire shadowflame tentacles at nearby enemies, dealing 40 damage and inflicting Shadowflame.
Increases projectile damage based on their velocity, up to a maximum of 30%. Makes projectiles faster if the player is moving slower then 38 mph.
Grants the ability to dash a long distance. Pressing the Throw Smoke Bomb key throws a smoke bomb; pressing the key a second time teleports the player to the smoke bomb. After teleporting, the player gains the First Strike buff, which guarantees that the next attack will be a critical hit that deals 3x damage and reduces enemy defense by 10. Using the Rod of Discord will also grant this buff.
Minions periodically launch scythes. Scythes deal the full damage of the minion, and have a base cooldown of 0.33 seconds that randomly scales based on the player's minion slots.
Grants two types of dash: Infiltrator and Monk. Monk dash has twice the cooldown of a normal dash but grants immunity to damage and debuffs for 0.5 seconds after dashing. Infiltrator dash, if dashing into a wall, will teleport the player to the other side of the wall; if there is no wall, then teleports the player forward a moderate distance. Dashes deal 1500 damage when hitting an enemy. Increases the attack speed of Lightning Aura sentries and allows them to critically strike.
Causes player attacks to fire the projectile of the next three weapons in the hotbar with drastically less damage and fire speed. Increases the firing range, projectile velocity, and field-of-view of Flameburst sentries.
Killing enemies causes a pile of bones to drop that ignores gravity. Touching a bone pile spawns a friendly Dungeon Guardian that aggressively homes in on enemies and deals 33% of the killed enemy's max health as damage. Bosses drop bone piles every time they lose 10% of their total health, and Dungeon Guardians spawned from boss bone piles deal 4% of the boss's max health in damage.
