The Copper Enchantment is a craftable Pre-Hardmode accessory that is themed after Copper armor. When equipped, hitting an enemy inflicted with Wet or landing a critical strike spawns lightning which chains to 1 nearby enemy with a cooldown of 5 seconds. The lightning has a base damage of 50 which decreases by 15% each hit and scales with magic damage, and inflicts the Electrified debuff for 3 seconds.

Equipping it alongside the Wizard Enchantment will increase the lightning base damage to 200, allows the lightning to chain to 5 enemies, and halves the cooldown.

  • When the target is hit while inflicted with Wet, it has a 25% chance to spawn lightning without critical strikes.
  • The lightning will only target enemies that haven't been hit by lightning.
  • While the Copper Enchantment has a rarity of 3, it does not use the standard orange color for its item name. Instead, it uses a custom rarity color of #D56617 ●.

Trivia

  • The symbol on the Copper Enchantment resembles a lightning bolt.
  • The flavor tooltip is a reference to the Ukulele item from the Risk of Rain series of video games.
