The Iron Enchantment is a craftable Pre-Hardmode accessory that is themed after Iron armor. When equipped, it increases the pickup range of items from 2.625 tiles to 12.625. Additionally, it will cause reforging to always grant an optimal prefix, but increases reforging cost by 50%. This effect works while the item is in the players inventory or vanity slots.
Equipping it alongside the Wizard Enchantment will increase the pickup range to 22.625 tiles and increase the granted damage reduction to 35%.

- While the Iron Enchantment has a rarity of 2, it does not use the standard green color for its item name. Instead, it uses a custom rarity color of #988E83 ●.
Trivia
- The symbol on the Iron Enchantment resembles a shield.
- The use of an Apricot in its recipe is a reference to real life Apricots having high iron concentrations.
