“Focus on taking down that metal skull, not its limbs. Don't try to outrun its spinning limbs! Keep your eyes open and learn to recognize what's doing what.

For the vanilla page, see Skeletron Prime.
Eternity Mode Skeletron Prime is a Hardmode boss. It is a more powerful version of Skeletron Prime with more attacks and new behavior.
Behavior
- Immune to traps.
- Limbs have greatly increased life.
- Active limbs become crippled instead of destroyed when the health is depleted. Crippled limbs are slower and attack less frequently.
- Prime Cannon shoots cannonballs more frequently and periodically switches to shooting Electric Orbs directly at the player.
- Cannonballs can hurt the player while airborne and inflict Defenseless.
- Prime Laser shoots more frequently and accurately.
- Head tries to hover a fair distance away while not spinning.
- Telegraphs spinning with a targeting reticle.
- Head periodically shoots spreads of 3 rockets.
- Summons 4 walls of Dungeon Guardian Primes imploding on horizontal and vertical directions when it starts spins.
Phase 1
- Limbs will only be used in pairs, alternating between Vice and Saw, and Cannon and Laser.
- Prime Vice swings down at the player while Prime Saw quickly stabs from the sides.
- Prime Laser will alternate between firing one spread of lasers at the player and 2 spreads of lasers around the player.
- Prime Laser shoots more frequently.
- Shoots rings of Electric Orbs consisting of a dozen spreads of Electric Orbs instead of rockets while spinning. as its health decreases, more Orbs are shot. (Always shoots maximum amount of Orbs)
- Main limbs will stretch out and spin when Prime spins, they can reach out further if you escape the circle.
- All Phase 1 changes listed only apply to phase 2, Prime's hands instead obey vanilla like ai with Prime Laser always firing spreads directly at the player.
- Under 60%/80% Prime enters phase 2.
Phase 2
- This phase is announced by the chat message:"Skeletron Prime has regrown it's arms!"
Prime immediately starts spinning.
- Active limbs deactivated and heal to 50% + half their current life.
- Prime spawns 4 new active limbs which behave identically to phase 1.
- Deactivated limbs hover around the player at 90* intervals and swoop inwards periodically, swooping causes deactivated limbs to swap between hovering at cardinal and intercardinal positions.
- When Prime is spinning, Deactivated limbs hover and swoop at head position instead.
- Deactivated limbs can be killed.
- At one life, Prime enters Dungeon Guardian phase.
Phase 3 (Dungeon Guardian)
- This phase is announced by the chat message:"Skeletron Prime has entered Dungeon Guardian form!"
- Prime heals 100 life and uses daytime ai and defensive statistics similar to Skeletron in Eternity Mode (Note Prime's is faster than Skeletron's).
- Prime becomes immune to all debuffs in this phase.
- Loses all limbs. (After entering Dungeon Guardian phase, it will keep its limbs.)
- Continues firing rockets.
