Summons Minion
Micro Prime

The Prime Staff is a summoner weapon dropped by the Skeletron Prime. On use, it will summon a micro Skeletron Prime head that will occasionally spin aggresively towards enemies, alongside one of four mini arms:

• The Prime Saw tries to stay on top of enemies.
• The Prime Laser will keep a distance from enemies while firing piercing lasers at them.
• The Prime Cannon will keep a distance from enemies while firing piercing, exploding bombs.
• The Prime Vice will behave identically to the saw.

Consecutive uses will summon more arms around the Skeletron Prime head, if the player has sufficient minion slots.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Prime Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.

Notes

• The miniature arms will always spawn in a set order: Saw, Laser, Cannon, Vice. This order does not reset upon despawning the minion.
