Infested is a Eternity Mode exclusive debuff inflicted by certain enemies. It deals damage over time which increases exponentially. If it is applied to the player when it was already applied for a shorter duration, it will deal exponentially higher damage that decreases as it approaches the original duration and then increases again as it wears off.

Any given subject does not give immunity to Infested.
