Fargo’s Soul Mod v0.7.0 served to add several new Enchantments and add, rebalance, and fix tons of things in Eternity Mode.
Additions
- Added a Mod Icon!
- Added Wood Enchantment, Boreal Wood Enchantment, Rich Mahogany Enchantment, Ebonwood Enchantment, Shadewood Enchantment, Palm Wood Enchantment, Pearlwood Enchantment, and Force of Wood
Changes
- Modified nearly all Enchantment recipes: they all have the same amount of materials now, Thorium butterflies removed, and several new Thorium items added
- Ninja Enchantment reworked: First Strike now given after throwing a smoke bomb, active until your next attack which will be enhanced
- Gladiator Enchantment reworked: Now attacks cause javelins to fall from the sky
- Spider Enchantment reworked: Now allows all minions to crit 10% of the time
- Copper Enchantment buffed: has greater bonuses when attacking wet enemies
- Frost Enchantment buffed: all attacks apply Frostburn
- Lead Enchantment nerfed: Lead Poison no longer slows and does not spread to projectile NPCs like Water Spheres
- Tungsten Enchantment nerfed: no longer Stuns enemies
- Spectre Enchantment nerfed: heals slighly less
- Recipe for Steel Throwing Axes increased from 1 per Folded Metal to 15
- Force of Earth now actually absorbs Mythril Enchantment's effects: 25% increased attack speed
- Changed around Force recipes so that Thorium does not take away from certain vanilla ones as much
- Several Thorium effects have been made more stable and should break less easily from Thorium updates
- Added several more toggles
- Pillars no longer spawn from Pandora's Box
- Mind Break damage buffed
- Amalgamated Bullet Pouch damage nerfed
- Slime Rain, The Guardian, The Penetrator, and Nuke Fishron recipes now require Eternal Energy and have better sell prices and rarity
- The Guardian's projectile is immune to Eternity Mode Golem fist destruction
- The Penetrator dash gives total immunity to all damage
- Nuke Fishron rockets home, have nice dust, explode into razor rings, and inflict Oceanic Maul, Curse of the Moon, and Mutant Nibble
- Target and Super Dummies are immune to Valhalla knockback
Fixes
- Fixed issues with Tungsten Enchantment and reseting size
- Fixed Iron Enchantment's Magnet working on Christmas hearts and stars when it shouldn't
- Fixed Platinum Enchantment being crafted at a Demon Altar instead of at a Crystal Ball
- Fixed Frost Enchantment and Orichalcum Enchantment doing horrible things in multiplayer
- Fixed Terrarium Enchantment rarity not being rainbow
- Fixed Aerospec Enchantment not having fall immunity
- Fixed bug on certain Thorium Enchantments like Illumite Enchantment where using a weapon with no ammo would spam projectiles
- Fixed Terra Force tooltip typo
- Fixed Supersonic Soul giving unintended defense
- Fixed other various multiplayer minion desyncs
- Fixed one off pixel in the Brain of Cthulhu minion
- Universal Collapse should work slightly better in multiplayer
Eternity Mode Full Changes
General Changes
- Brought back boss scaling
- Nerfed spawn rates in general and boss spawn rates reduced even more
- Removed Confused infliction upon taking fall damage
- Removed most instances of enemies promoting over time or on hit (Baby Slimes, Baby Mothrons, Pirate Deckhand)
- Removed bosses spawning on being hit by certain enemies (Wandering Eye, Pigron, Spiked Slime)
- Removed most instances of being "eaten alive" (All worms)
- Removed all DD2 enemy natural spawns because they were acting weird or making DD2 music play all the time
- Flames and geyser traps always inflict On Fire
- Oiled now works on players
- Fixed Spider Cave Webbed causing a softlock in multiplayer
- Passive regen no longer affects any friendly NPCs
- All bosses now drop up to 10 potions per kill (was 5)
- Fixed certain projectile changes happening outside of Eternity Mode
Debuff Changes
- Oceanic Maul & Nullification Curse now disable Shadow Dodge, Black Belt dodge, Hallowed Shield, and Shell Hide
- Oceanic Maul no longer removes knockback resistance
- Curse of the Moon damage over time is weaker
- Removed Bleed/Frostburn/Moon Leech effects from Nullification Curse
- Nerfed Marked for Death to 300% damage instead of 1000%
- Nerfed Infested damage over time
- Reverse Mana Flow also causes -90% magic damage
- Hexed now has a visual dust
- Flames of the Universe gives NPCs immunity to its components so they don't take up buff slots
Item Changes
- Added Slimy Shield, Agitating Lens, Corrupt Heart, Gutted Heart, Pure Heart, Necromantic Brew, and Supreme Deathbringer Fairy
- Added Squeaky Toy, Ordinary Carrot, Dragon's Fang, Concentrated Rainbow Matter, Mystic Skull, Wretched Pouch, Sands of Time, Frigid Gemstone, Tribal Charm, Security Wallet, and Bionomic Cluster
- Added Pumpking's Cape, Ice Queen's Crown, Saucer Control Console, Heart of the Mutants, Celestial Seal, and Cyclonic Fin
- Queen's Stinger is now a Eternity Mode drop
- All Eternity Mode boss drops are now like Treasure Bags and each player will get one in multiplayer
- Pungent Eye, Remote Control, and Galactic Globe now have minions
- Removed Living Wasteland immunity from Lump of Flesh
- Ground Stick renamed to Remote Control and it now makes your attacks inflict Lightning Rod and not Electrified
- Reinforced Plating now gives knockback immunity
- Skull Charm now also makes relevant skeletons passive like Royal Gel when outside the Dungeon
- Lihzahrd Treasure Box no longer does anything in flipped gravity and works better in multiplayer
- Fixed Lihzahrd Treasure Box and Plantera's Child not carrying over to Chalice of the Moon
- Betsy's Heart now grants Oozed immunity
- Mutant Antibodies buffs Cute Fishron
- Celestial Rune now has bonus attacks
- Increased Eternal duration to 7 minutes
- Soul of the Siblings now lets you inflict Eternal
- Increased drop rates of Rabies Shot and Volatile Energy
- Ancient Visions spawned on hit are now minion damage instead of throwing
- Fixed minions from accessories not being buffed by player stats
- Several sprites added
- Standardized item rarity/sell prices
- Tooltips added/changed for some items and moved to the top to match up with all other Fargo item tooltips
Surface / Forest
- Increased Pinky's Slimed duration, now inflicts Stunned, and splits into 2 Yellow Slimes and 1 Mother Slime
- Umbrella Slimes, Present Slimes, and Hoppin Jacks now inflict Slimed
- White Cultist Archers can be targeted correctly by homing/minions
Night
- Zombie hordes and Armed Zombies replacing regular Zombies is now all the time instead of post EoC
- Demon Eye dash speed is slower and slightly more random so they don't all dash at the same time
- Corrupt critters will now continue to spawn in Hard Mode
- Corrupt and Crimson Bunny spawn rate reduced
- Clowns drop a bomb instead of dynamite when they explode
- Added Happy Bombs to the clowns explosion
Desert
- Antlions will only draw you in when you are Stunned now
- Vulture feathers are actually named Vulture Feathers
- Basilisks have 300% HP and now inflict Poison/Venom/Infested
- Dune Splicers have 500% HP
- Various underground desert mobs can drop Desert Fossils
- Desert Spirit may drop Flying Carpet, 2% chance
Snow
- Ice Bats don't inflict Frostburn anymore
- Reduced Krampus spawn rates
- Pigrons inflict Oceanic Maul
- Removed Nutcrackers insta killing males
The Corruption
- Eater of Souls hordes are post EoW instead of EoC and they can horde in larger numbers
- Corrupt Mimics inflict Cursed Flames
The Crimson
- Crimera hordes are post BoC instead of EoC and they can horde in larger numbers
- Crimslimes don't inflict Bleeding anymore
- Crimson Mimics inflict Ichor
Jungle
- Man Eaters and Angry Trappers turn red when they can eat you. Man Eaters cannot eat you in Hard Mode
- Giant Flying Foxes don't inflict Squeaky Toy anymore, but now inflict Mutant Nibble
- Moss Hornets may now spawn in packs of up to 5
- Jungle Mimics inflict Suffocation
Ocean
- Various mobs drop Seashells and Starfish
Meteor
- Reduced Meteor Head dash speed
Dungeon
- Dark Caster may drop Water Bolt, 4% chance
- Water Spheres now inflict Wet
- White Cultist Archers also spawn around the Dungeon
- Ragged Caster attacks now inflict Hexed instead of Unstable
- Necromancer attacks inflict Shadowflame
- Dungeon Guardian moves at greater speeds and shoots skulls below 1000 HP
- Dungeon Guardian inflicts Flames of the Universe, God Eater, Marked for Death, and it ignores immunity-frames
Floating Islands
- Angry Nimbus only spawns in the sky in Hard Mode now
- Lunar enemies spawn in the sky post any Mechanical Boss instead of always in Hard Mode
- Wyverns may drop Sky Crates
Underground / Caverns
- Cave Bats can spawn in hordes all the time instead of post EoC
- Mimics now spawn in prehardmode
- Salamanders inflict Poisoned
- Dark Casters spawn less often
- Lava Slimes, Fire Imps, Dark Casters continue to spawn in Hard Mode
- Lava Slimes inflict Oiled
- Lava Slime may drop Lava Charm, 1% chance
Granite Cave
- Granite Golems and Elementals don't Stone with 100% chance, now 50%
The Underworld
- Leeches and Blazing Wheels continue to spawn in Hard Mode
- Leeches do not bring your velocity to zero on contact anymore
- Bone Serpents inflict Burning
The Hallow
- Unicorn rainbows now ignore tiles
- Gingerbread Men spawn on the surface at any time instead of only at night
- Rainbow Slimes now split into 5 Pinkys and 5 Gastropods after their initial split
- Big Rainbow Slime sprays rainbow slime spikes like King Slime but he aims them better
- Hallowed Mimics inflict Unstable
Events
Blood Moon
- Increased Blood Zombie aura range
Goblin Army
- Goblin spike balls now die after one hit and don't last as long
Rain
- Flying Fish can spawn in hordes all the time instead of post EoC, max of 3 instead of 5
- Corrupt and Crimson Goldfish can spawn while it's raining at night now
Sandstorm
- Sand Elemental sandnados spew Sand Sharks
Old One's Army
- Lightning Bugs inflict Electrified instead of Lightning Rod
- Various masomode spawns no longer happen during Old One's Army
- Betsy drops Inferno Potions
Frost Legion
- Mister Stabby inflicts Chilled and starts off stealthed and will unstealth on hit
- After being unstealthed Mister Stabby moves faster
- Snow Ballas inflict Frostburn and Chilled and they move and attack twice as fast
- Snow Balla snowballs inflict Frozen
- Snowman Gangstas inflict Frostburn and Chilled and they fire a shotgun spread of bullets
- Snowman Gangsta bullets inflict Chilled
Solar Eclipes
- Added combat text to Vampire life steal
Pumpkin Moon
- Mourning Wood always drops a Goodie Bag and may drop a Bloody Machete
- Pumpking always drops a Goodie Bag and may drop a Bladed Glove
- Pumpking inflicts Living Wasteland instead of Rotting
- Pumpking scythes inflict On Fire and Living Wasteland
Frost Moon
- Ice Queen spawns Flockos and inflicts Chilled, Frostburn, and Frozen
Lunar Events
- Pillars have 500% life and deal contact damage which inflicts Curse of the Moon
- Pillars all have unique means of self-defense when vulnerable
- Srollers no longer have boosted defense
- Nerfed Alien Hornet/Brain Suckler fake death chance to 66%
- Vortex Larva become Vortex Hornets 50% of the time instead of always
Bosses
King Slime
- Slime rain attack now actually aims at you and spawns less often
- King Slime now only spawns naturally post EoW/BoC instead of post himself, also he can spawn anytime during a Slime Rain not just during the day
- Drops Wooden Crates
Eye of Cthulhu
- Blood Scythes spawned by EoC now inflict shorter Shadowflame and also now inflict Bleeding but not Darkness
- Blood Scythes are their own projectile now
- Fixed Blood Scythes despawning sometimes
- Drops Life Crystals
Eater of Worlds
- Vile Spit inflicts Rotting
- Eaters of Souls that are spawned during the fight drop much less loot
- Eater of Worlds can spawn after beating just Skeletron, not Queen Bee and Skeletron
- Drops Corrupt Crates
Brain of Cthulhu
- Shows a visual of Confusing everyone nearby when hit
- Inflicts long Confused instead of Hexed
- Brain of Cthulhu can spawn after beating just Skeletron, not Queen Bee and Skeletron
- Drops Crimson Crates
Queen Bee
- Shoots spread of stingers at all times in stationary mode as opposed to only when Royal Subjects are alive
- Now spawns Royal Subject at 66% and two more at 33% HP, they also fly in to aid instead of appearing from Queen Bee
- Royal Subjects separate NPCs from Queen Bee to stop some bugs
- Royal Subjects die when Queen Bee dies
- Stinger Venom duration reduced
- Queen Bee spawns anytime in the Hard Mode Jungle instead of post any Mechanical Boss
- Drops Jungle Crates
Skeletron
- Dungeon Guardian mode is now only 50 HP and it does not set time to day
- Skeletron can spawn anytime in the Hard Mode Dungeon instead of post any Mechanical Boss
- Drops Dungeon Crates
Wall of Flesh
- Mouth has 1000% defense again (was 500%), Hungries have 300% life (was 400%)
- Shoots fireballs faster in phase 2
- Inflicts Burning on contact
- Deathray now inflicts Darkness and Blackout
- He will not go hyper speed unless all players are dead or too far away
- Tongues you at slightly closer range
- Drops Hallow Crates and Shadow Crates if Fargo's Mutant Mod is enabled
- Drops Obsidian Skin Potions instead of Inferno Potions
The Twins
- Twins don't become immune when partner isn't also in phase 3
- Fire rings of dark stars occasionally

The Destroyer
- Destroyer head no longer inflicts Crippled/Clipped Wings

- Lights take longer to light back up and when they are out, body segments fire dark stars

Skeletron Prime
- Skeletron Prime DR adjusted, fully invulnerable at the start of the fight and loses invulnerability when any limb dies
- Only half of his limbs move at higher speed in phase 2
- Prime Cannon now fires dark stars

Plantera
- Inflicts Venom much more aggressively on direct touch
- Now has 75% resistance against Fetid Baghnakhs

Golem
- Fists explode when fully extended
- Head always alternates between 3 and 4 spread of lasers (was random)
- Head now breathes fire after each laser spread
- Now shoots downwards geysers if player is below him
- Now shoots anti-air fireball spreads upward
- Nerfed Golem body regen
Duke Fishron
- Immune to Valhalla knockback
- Now has razor rings
- Nerfed phase 3 extra sharknados
Lunatic Cultist
- Cultist clones shoot lightning bolts instead of lightning portals
- Cultist clones inflict Curse of the Moon instead of Rotting
- Ancient Light homes less
Moon Lord
- Moon Lord also shoots a lightning orb during his ranged phase
- Deathray no longer inflicts debuffs besides Curse of the Moon
- No longer inflicts Water Candle/Battle Potion in phase 2
- Moon Leech disables Palladium lifesteal
- No longer regenerates during stardust phase
- Resists Phantasm instead of being immune
- Ancient Visions and Phantasmal Dragons can spawn during the fight
Duke Fishron EX
- Added Duke Fishron EX to Boss Checklist
- Duke Fishron EX actually named Duke Fishron EX in game
- Restored Truffle Worm EX functionality, now you fish with it, no longer a toggle, also added a Shrimpy Truffle to its recipe
