The Truffle Worm EX is an unobtainable consumable item. If used to fish while in Eternity Mode, it will summon Duke Fishron EX. If the player is not in Eternity Mode, Truffle Worm EX has no effect.

Notes

• While the Truffle Worm EX has a rarity of 11, it does not use the standard purple color for its item name. Instead, it alternates between two custom colors (#FF3399 and #0033FF).
• Like its much more obtainable equivalent, the Truffle Worm EX cannot be used for ordinary fishing despite its bait power.
• When fishing with the Truffle Worm EX, Duke Fishron EX will automatically spawn without the player having to reel it in manually.

Trivia

• Its tooltip refers to Eternity Mode as "Masochist Mode", which was the mode's name at the time the item was made unobtainable.
