The Dread Enchantment is a craftable Hardmode accessory. It is only available with the Thorium Mod and Souls DLC Mod installed.

It is themed after Dread armor, and when equipped, raises the player's maximum movement speed up to 106 mph; while moving, the player's damage will increase by 25%, critical strike chance will increase by 20%, and damage reduction will increase by 10%—the same effect as Dread armor's set bonus. Additionally, it provides the effects of the Dragon armor, Crash Boots, and Cursed Flail-Core accessories.
