The Portable Sundial is a Pre-Hardmode tool. It has two effects:

  • ⚒ Use / Attack - Instantly changes the time to 7:30 PM, 12:00 AM, 4:30 AM, or 12:00 PM, whichever comes next.
  • ⚷ Open / Activate - Accelerates time, each real time second will cover an hour until the in game time reaches 4:30 AM.
