Fargo's Souls Mod v1.3.96.2 served to make a variety of bug fixes and balance changes.
Changes
Enchantment Accessories
- Palm Wood Enchantment bug fixed, sentry was previously considered not actually a minion
- Ebonwood Enchantment nerfed, enemies are only debuffed while they remain in aura (previously lasted 2 seconds after they left)
- Tin Enchantment bug fixed, previously ignored any crit modifiers from below the accessory's slot
- Removed nerf to synergy with Spider Enchantment, no longer halves max crit (was originally implemented to mitigate minions being balanced around not critting back when Tin granted 100% max crit cap always)
- Silver Enchantment buffed, grants minions increased movement/attack speed
- Nerfed damage of minion to 20/50/150 (was 30/100/250)
- Bee Enchantment bug fixed, now allows minions to spawn bees
- Jungle Enchantment multiplayer spore bug fixed
- Rain Enchantment nerfed, lightning hit rate reduced and uses x1 damage when absorbing piercing projectile (x3 like before for non-piercing)
- Ancient Shadow Enchantment nerfed, procs less often, uses 40 base damage (was 50), uses 25% of enemy's contact damage (was 50%)
- Cobalt Enchantment nerfed, has 20/40/100 damage with Enchantment/Force/Soul instead of using the damage of the projectile that spawned it
- Spider Enchantment bug fixed, now works on many minions it didn't before including but not limited to
- Retinamini lasers
- Pygmy spears
- Imp fireballs
- Hornet stingers
- Stardust Cell shots
- Sharknado sharks
- Monk Enchantment bug fixed, buff now disappears when you toggle Monk Dash off
- Hallowed Enchantment sword visual improved
- Tiki Enchantment nerfed, reduces summon weapon use speed while you're benefiting from its effect
- Fixed oversight where it uses your number of minions instead of actual minion slots, which allowed a bug where you can summon more minions than you have slots before they begin disappearing if the minions took up more than one slot each
- Shroomite Enchantment mushroom hit rate nerfed
Other Accessories
- Mutant Antibodies nerfed, inflicts reduced life regeneration
- Heart of the Eternal buffed to give 10% damage and crit (was 5%)
Weapons
- Eater of Worlds Staff has improved multiplayer sync
- Overgrown Key use speed nerfed to be in line with other summon weapons
- Twinrangs Retirang nerfed, does 25% less damage
- Destroyer Gun has improved multiplayer sync and internal refactor for how empty minion slots are calculated
- The Dicer damage nerfed and fixed sell price being far too high
- Slime Slinging Slasher sell price corrected (was too low before)
- Mechanical Leash of Cthulhu visuals improved and hit rate nerfed
- Hell Zone damage significantly buffed
- Big Brain Buster damage buffed
- Devious Aestheticus has internal refactor for how empty minion slots are calculated
- Diffractor Blaster sell price corrected (was too low before)
- Destruction Cannon has improved multiplayer sync and internal refactor for how empty minion slots are calculated
- Phantasmal Leash of Cthulhu visuals improved and bolts despawn earlier to reduce lag
- The Penetrator dive lasts longer, allowing you to dive from top to bottom of large world without spear despawning mid-dive
- Sparkling Love right click has internal refactor for how empty minion slots are calculated
Other Changes
- A variety of internal changes to how projectiles are identified as minions to be more consistent with recognizing them
- Gaia armor buffed, offense mode grants 10% more damage, 5% more crit, 10 more armor penetration
- Eridanus armor buffed, minion punches faster in minion phase and fixed bug where phase switch visuals appeared on other players in multiplayer
- Rabies Vaccine recipe reduced to 30 shots (was 60)
- Champions drop more or less Enchantments based on difficulty
- Champions besides Eridanus have slight scaling in multiplayer
Eternity Mode Changes
General Changes
- Mutant's Gift only spawns Deviantt once per world to mitigate infinite Deviantt exploit and fixed spawning multiple Deviantts per use in multiplayer
- Deviantt's Gift includes the new Eternity Advisor
- Reduced use speed of all Old One's Army sentries to reduce effectiveness of resummoning
- Updated tooltip of all summon weapons to reflect class lock nerf
- Sky Fracture nerf, -25% damage
- Snowman Cannon nerf, -25% (was -15%)
- Razorpine buff, -33% damage, -33% speed (was -33% damage, -50% speed)
- Spider Staff buff, higher hit rate
- Deadly Sphere Staff buff, higher hit rate
- Optic Staff buff, higher hit rate
- Fused explosion damage is 66% of your current life or max life before modifiers, whichever is higher, also has a visual appearance, can hurt enemies, and ignores most defense and damage reduction
- Unstable bug fixed where it pretends to teleport other players in multiplayer
- Bloodthirsty now causes x3 max spawns and x100 spawn rate (was x20 max spawns, x20 spawn rate)
Enemies
- Fixed naturally spawning Probes having increased life, now only boosted during boss fights
- Martian Probe and randomly spawning Lunar Event enemies are immune to Suffocation
- Fixed Celestial Pillars auras not working in multiplayer

- Fixed bone spray sharing invulnerability frames with Skeletron itself, allowing you to facetank Dungeon Guardian form by taking damage from the bones and not Skeletron

- Light ball delay increased and acceleration reduced making it easier to dodge, but drastically buffed to burst into rays that cannot be avoided from outside
- Fixed multiplayer glitch with the visual sprite overlay causing lag
- New Yet Another Boss Health Bar boss health bar
- Plantera
- Nerfed hitbox of Crystal Leaf ring slightly
- Fixed minor offset issue where Crystal Leaf hitboxes didn't align properly with their sprite
- Crystal Leaf visuals improved
- Drops more Chlorophyte Ore
- Golem
- Low Ground disables mounts
- Fixed bug where head would use enraged laser spread after deathray if it started its attack in temple but finished outside
- Lunatic Cultist
- Nebula Sphere behaviour adjusted, periodically speeds up and slows down
- Moon Lord
- Fixed being immune to Stardust Cell, Pygmy, and Sharknado in stardust phase because the projectiles shot by those minions technically aren't minion damage
- Drops more Luminite Ore
- Champion of Terra
- No longer takes full damage on all segments from projectiles that use non-standard invulnerability frames
- Champion of Spirit
- Spirits use a non-dust visual trail to avoid issue where they became extremely difficult to see on low quality and/or with too many other dust effects on screen
- Hallowed reflector makes a visible effect when it reflects your projectiles to better denote what's happening
- Buffed desert spirit attack below 66% life, drops bones that fall up
- Champion of Will
- Uses deathray bomb as first attack instad of dashes
- Fixed visual bug where wings dissociated from body when game zoomed
- Eridanus, Champion of Cosmos
- Fixed timestop causing devastating multiplayer lag
- Timestop Flow Invaders have accelerating startup, increasing reaction window
- Reduced damage reduction to 10% (was 20%)
- Phase 2 solar dashes nerfed, only does 3 dashes (was 4)
- Phase 2 vortex dust reduced, should improve clarity of attack
- Phase 3 moons do more damage, use separate invulnerability frames from other attacks, and are now three (was two)
- Phase 3 nebula attack buffed (should hopefully also make the safespot slightly clearer)
- When killed, moons drop to the ground and explode (harmless)
- Drops loot per player in multiplayer
- New Yet Another Boss Health Bar boss health bar

- Fixed multiplayer glitch with the visual sprite overlay causing lag
- Fixed handle of Styx Gazer sword desyncing in multiplayer

- Fixed True Eye not firing its deathray in multiplayer
- Fixed True Eye not throwing Phantasmal Spheres in multiplayer
- Fixed Destroyer attack only having a head in multiplayer
