Fargo's Souls Mod v1.3.96.1 served to adjust balance and polish changes introduced in the recent update, as well as tweaks for various aspects of Eternity Mode.

Other Accessories

  • Medallion of the Fallen King damage nerfed, projectiles obey piercing invulnerability frames, improved multiplayer sync, spikes persist longer but fewer shot at once, and balls have mild prediction
  • Slimy Shield balls damage nerfed
  • Lump of Flesh visuals improved and easier to distinguish

Weapons

  • Vineslinger, Mahoguny, Overgrown Key prices all corrected to be in line with other weapons on tier
  • Leash of Cthulhu damage marginally nerfed
  • The Dicer damage nerfed to 70 (was 75)
  • Devious Aestheticus visuals adjusted, balanced: slot scaling adjusted, projectiles can now bounce off walls but only split on hit
  • Dragon's Demise visuals improved to have a more solid stream of flame
  • The Penetrator down-right click spear no longer has a trail, denoting that it can't reflect projectiles
    • Dash nerfed to have less damage and not spawn projectiles if it collides with a surface, can no longer achieve double DPS of other modes by mashing your face into a corner
    • Dive lasts much longer, minimizing scenarios where you fail to explode upon hitting the ground at certain intervals
    • Improved collision detection to prevent going out of bounds
    • Fixed multiplayer sync issue where dashing caused Penetrator to appear in someone else's hands
  • Styx Gazer right click sickle visuals adjusted

Other Changes

  • Fixed Paradox Wolf Soul crashing
  • Fixed Hexed preventing hostile projectiles from harming town NPCs
  • Improved click detection code for the soul toggler UI

Eternity Mode Changes

General Changes

  • Cosmetic change to tooltips, all Eternity Mode buffs are denoted with green text instead of red
  • Fixed Space Gun and Demon Scythe tooltips not displaying properly
  • Slime Staff buffed, spawns two slimes per slot
  • The Bee's Knees nerf is now -33% (was -25%)
  • Beenade nerfed -33% damage and speed
  • Bee Gun nerfed -33% speed
  • Snowman Cannon buffed, nerf reduced to -15% (was 33%)
  • Razorpine nerfed, -33% damage and -50% speed
  • Raven Staff nerfed, -15% damage
  • All summons do -66% damage when player is using another weapon
  • Aura visuals adjusted to scale up and down with the radius of effect
  • Infested formula adjusted, lower base damage over time but much faster scaling
  • Fixed Lihzahrd Curse not stopping you from blowing up traps in the temple

Enemies

  • Eater of Souls cursed fireballs no longer have unintended wall-bouncing property
  • Sand Elemental has a longer cooldown on spawning Dune Splicer
  • Celestial Pillars have 66% damage reduction but only 50 kills to break shields, are much better at detecting when player is outside radius, and regenerate life quickly while player isn't fighting them
  • Stardust Cell no longer has buffed defense on split
  • Dungeon Guardian debuff immunity fixed to work properly and actively strips all invulnerability frames upon touching player

Bosses

    • Spike rain no longer glows inside tiles
  • Eater of WorldsEater of Worlds
    • Head and fireball damage buffed to 64, was 48
    • Vile Spit damage nerfed to 48, was 64
  • Brain of CthulhuBrain of Cthulhu
    • Fixed oversight where illusions used old recolor map icon instead of resprite
    • Fixed lasers not always firing in multiplayer
  • Queen BeeQueen Bee
    • Hive toss made easier to see and doesn't convey its speed to enemies spawned from it since it caused them to fly away at huge speeds
    • Buffed bee swarm damage slightly
  • SkeletronSkeletron
    • Now drops Brittle Bones when the Bone Zone is dropped
  • Deviantt (boss)Deviantt (boss)
    • Light ball attack buffed, now sweeps rays instead of splitting


  • The DestroyerThe Destroyer
    • Buffed, has 50% resistance to Nimbus Rod and 33% resistance to Life Drain
  • Skeletron PrimeSkeletron Prime
    • Limbs return to normal behaviour while despawning and limbs shouldn't despawn independently of prime
  • PlanteraPlantera
    • Phase 2 Dicer mines buffed, no longer has delay between waves
    • Projectiles buffed, inflict one additional second of Ivy Venom

    • Buffed to spray reverse gravity spiky balls in temple
  • Duke FishronDuke Fishron
    • Fixed some attacks not inflicting Oceanic Maul correctly
    • Buffed non-contact damage attacks to inflict -25 life instead of -10
  • Lunatic CultistLunatic Cultist
    • Phantasmal Dragon has 100% damage reduction for 3 seconds when spawned
  • Moon LordMoon Lord
    • Adjustment behaviour of sun slightly
